Notes:
HEALTH came through Charleston, which it’s rare to have awesome music come through this city. Big thanks to Johnny for hooking us up with photo/video passes in order to film the show. I think the footage came out really stellar. This was my first time recording at the Music Farm and having the Schoeps on a stand in front of the board was not really advantageous. The room is very boomy and has some echoing with being that far from the PA. I wish I asked for a board patch. But I did not want to press my luck. It was real fun to film from the barrier this time around.
Chatted with BJ a bit after the show while they were loading out their gear. We talked coffee and then exchanged some bags of beans a week or so later. His coffee roaster, Black Phoebe Coffee is fantastic! Looking forward to seeing HEALTH later this fall in Simpsonville!
